Monuments and Memorials – June 5

The day starts with a walking tour of the Homewood Cemetery.  Visit the final resting place of the Who’s Who of Pittsburgh History.  After a stroll through the cemetery we will dine at the Square Café in Regent Square and then visit the Gary and Nancy Tuckfelt Keeping Tabs Memorial.  Bill Walter will tell the story of the origins of the monument that memorializes the 6 Million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust.  Bus leaves from the Walmart Parking Lot Greengate at 8:45 am and North Huntingdon at 9:00 am.  Moderate Walking.
