Deposits and Payments
All tours require a per-person deposit to secure your reservation. The deposit amount varies depending on the particular trip. If a deposit is not received, your name may be removed from the registration roster.
Payments may be made by credit card through the Group Collect website. Payment links will be provided with each trip description.
Venmo payments are also accepted at @Cheryl-Walter-2.
Tour Directors and Escorts
Norwin Express Tours multi-day tours are escorted by a tour director. Our tour directors are knowledgeable, courteous, and committed to helping make your trip comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable.
The tour director is responsible for handling tour details from the beginning to the end of the trip so that you may enjoy a carefree vacation. Any special requests should be brought to the attention of the tour director on the first day of travel. Any concerns should be brought to the tour director’s immediate attention while on the trip so they may be addressed as quickly as possible.
Responsibility
Norwin Express Tours makes arrangements with hotels, transportation companies, attractions, restaurants, theaters, cruise lines, airlines, and other independent third parties, each referred to as a “Supplier,” to provide the travel services included in our tours. These Suppliers are independent contractors and are not under the direct control of Norwin Express Tours.
By registering for a Norwin Express Tours trip, you agree that Norwin Express Tours is not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, errors, or negligence of any Supplier or of any party other than Norwin Express Tours employees.
Norwin Express Tours shall not be liable for any loss, cost, damage, expense, injury, illness, delay, inconvenience, missed connection, or death resulting from the actions or omissions of any Supplier; the employees or agents of any Supplier; government actions; acts of God; weather; late arrivals; transportation delays; or any other factors beyond the direct control of Norwin Express Tours.
Norwin Express Tours reserves the right to cancel, alter, substitute, or modify any advertised tour or portion of a tour when circumstances require.
Cancellation by Norwin Express Tours
The cost of each tour is based on a minimum number of participants. Approximately thirty days before departure, Norwin Express Tours reviews the final reservation list to determine whether the minimum number of travelers has been met.
If the required minimum number of reservations has not been met, Norwin Express Tours may need to cancel the trip. In the event that Norwin Express Tours cancels a tour because the minimum number of participants has not been met, travelers with reservations will be notified and will receive a full refund of payments made to Norwin Express Tours for that tour.
Cancellation by a Supplier
Norwin Express Tours contracts with Suppliers to provide hotels, transportation, meals, attractions, admissions, theater tickets, cruises, flights, and other travel-related services. From time to time, a Supplier may cancel or alter services that Norwin Express Tours has arranged on behalf of travelers.
By registering for a Norwin Express Tours trip, you agree that Norwin Express Tours shall have no liability for cancellations, changes, or service disruptions made by a Supplier. However, Norwin Express Tours will work in good faith with the traveler and the Supplier to seek any available refund, credit, substitution, or other accommodation in accordance with the Supplier’s policies and procedures.
Traveler Cancellation, Refunds, and Travel Insurance
Regardless of the reason, traveler cancellations often result in costly and time-consuming processes. Many tours include non-refundable components such as theater tickets, attraction admissions, hotel deposits, transportation costs, cruise payments, airline tickets, or other prepaid arrangements.
For this reason, travel insurance is highly recommended.
All multi-day trips will include the option to purchase TripMate travel insurance through the Group Collect website. Travelers are encouraged to review the insurance information carefully and make the decision that is best for their individual situation. Travel insurance may help protect against certain covered reasons for cancellation, medical issues, travel delays, or other unexpected circumstances, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
One-Day Tour Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation more than 60 days before departure, a full refund will be given, minus the cost of any tickets, admissions, non-refundable reservations, or other items already purchased by Norwin Express Tours on your behalf.
If you cancel your reservation less than 45 days before departure, a refund will be given, minus the cost of any tickets, admissions, non-refundable reservations, or other items already purchased by Norwin Express Tours on your behalf. A $50 cancellation fee will also be charged.
If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before departure, no refund will be given, and the total reservation payment will be forfeited.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Multi-Day Tour Cancellation Policy
Because multi-day tours often involve hotels, motorcoaches, airlines, cruises, timed admissions, theater tickets, attractions, and other prepaid arrangements, cancellation penalties may vary by trip and by Supplier.
Refunds for multi-day tours will depend on the cancellation date, the policies of the Suppliers involved, and any non-refundable expenses already paid on the traveler’s behalf.
Norwin Express Tours will make every reasonable effort to recover any refundable amounts available from Suppliers; however, Norwin Express Tours cannot guarantee refunds for costs that are non-refundable or already committed.
For this reason, TripMate travel insurance is strongly recommended for all multi-day tours.
