Dates are June 13 & 14th

We’re starting off with a Jam Off – we’ll learn how to make Strawberry Jam but then we’ll break into teams and put a “twist” in our Jam then a big Jam Off Contest!!! We’ll follow that with a Farm to Table Lunch at the cannery. Moving on to a demo on infused vinegar and then check into the hotel. We’ll head over to Worthington where we’ll make “the flavor of your choice” candle and your own letterhead at the Igloo Letter Press. All of this will be followed with a Chef’s demo at the Worthington Inn and then a specially prepared dinner.

The next morning will take us to an Organic Peanut Butter Factory followed by a Chocolate Factory (I think that was what God intended chocolate & peanut butter as a duo). From there a walking tour of Old German Town and then Lunch at Schmidts (a giant German Buffet with their specialty, cream puffs). We will have a tour of all of the specialty shops at North Market and then a tour of the Observatory and finally a pizza demo at the Fire Wood Theater.

This trip will be limited to 50 people.

  1. What a wonderful, fun-filled trip this was! We made strawberry jam and a vinegar infusion. We made our own scented candle and we printed a thank-you note. One adventure was as exciting as the next one! We certainly ate our way through the Columbus area. There were many places that we visited that I would like to return to see. Hey, how about a 32-room book store!!!
